Charity Work at Christmas

Christmas started early for cadets from 413 (Aldershot) Squadron. They joined members of the Aldershot Rotary Club collecting for local charties in the area. They collected from door to door on behalf of the Rotary Club who then distribute the money raised to those that need in it in the Borough.

To get everyone in the Christmas spirit the collectors have a Christmas themed float with them which is lit up and plays carols and other festive songs. Father Christmas also puts in an appearance. This has become an annual event for the cadets at 413. Last year when they helped the Rotary Club the usual father chrsitmas character was unable to make it at short notice. Thankfully the Rotary Club members had his outfit to hand so Cadet Corporal Alex Bandiera stepped in and became 'Father Christmas' for the evening. Apparently he did such a good job the Rotary Club are asking for his return this year!
