Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wing Air Cadets
Totton Squadron Cadet of the Year
Cadet Sgt Jake Stanswood is the first Totton Cadet of the Year for many years.
Squadron Commanding Officer Gary Harding was Cadet of the Year at the same unit some 30 years ago and was very keen to re-introduce Cadet of the Year back into the Squadron to help encourage and instil a more competitive edge in the Squadron to give the Cadets a more of a goal to aspire to. With new trophies being awarded the Cadet of the Year scheme has been welcomed by all at the Sqn. This years prize was a flight in an Airbus A320/200 full size flight simulator. Winner, Sgt Jake Stanswood said "I expected it to be good, but never imagined it to be as good as it was, it was amazing".
