Southampton Cadets go parachuting

Recently cadets (and staff!) from 424 City of Southampton Squadron took part in the first squadron organised parachute course at the home of the Army Parachute Association, Netheravon!

The course consisted of a full days training on the Saturday culminating in our first static line jump! Then a refresher course on the Sunday morning followed by our second jump.

The course was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and even though everyone was nervous at some point everyone jumped! Well done Guys & Girls!

Thanks to Nick from the Royal Engineers for helping us out, and Rich and Steve our mega instructors (and Dave our refresher instructor!).
