In the 1970’s 1105 (City of Winchester) Squadron welcomed Mark Green as a new Cadet. AVM Green took the time to come and visit his old Squadron on a normal parade evening to see how the Squadron has developed over the years, to meet with the new Cadets and staff and finally to see how the organisation that he is responsible for is functioning and delivering the Air Cadet Experience.
Flight Lieutenant Michael Cullen, Officer Commanding 1105 Squadron said, "It is fantastic for us to welcome back an ex Cadet who has gone on to achieve real success within our parent organisation. It really will provide an inspiration for our Cadets that want to enter the Royal Air Force."

He then toured the Squadron speaking with the Cadets asking them how long they had been in the organisation, what they thought of it and whether or not they planned to enter to the Royal Air Force.
