Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wing Air Cadets
VICTORY at RAD
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wing emerged victorious from the annual Regional Activities Day Competition winning the day by two points from Thames Valley Wing!
The event was held at MOD Boscombe Down just over the border in Wiltshire and included competions ranging from Drill to model making and media skills.
1105 (City of Winchester) Squadron represented the Wing in both the drill and the Banner drill competitions coming a very credible second in both behind Thames Valley and Bristol and Gloucestershire Wings respectivly.
2327 (Havant) Squadron represented the Wing in both the Media Skills competition and the Website competition and although they did not win either individual event the combined places of second and third meant that they won the media section of the day.
Well done to Cadet Brown of 2327 Squadron who won the individual Aircraft Recognition competition. 1216 (Eastleigh) Squadron with thier Diorama of the Dambusters Lancaster and to Corporal Moore of 424 (City of Southampton) Squadron for winning the over 16's aeromodeling.
Congratulations to all those that took part.
